Seyfarth Shaw’s Construction practice offers an “inception to completion”  service for clients throughout all phases of the construction process. Although we have traditionally maintained a strong litigation dimension to the practice, our expertise extends to all non-contentious aspects of construction project development and government contracts work. Our client roster features a large number of contractors and engineers. We have extensive government contracts expertise representing both private parties contracting with the government and government entities.  Significant expertise includes, handling protests, claims, and litigation. International work is a growing feature of the practice, and we continue to successfully expand our relationships with foreign construction companies and project owners operating overseas working on some of the largest international projects.

We believe that our quintessential role as construction advisors is to keep our clients at the work site and out of the courtroom. This blog offers concise updates in the field of construction law, our goal being to facilitate best practices from the design phase through commissioning. Our purpose isn’t just to educate builders and designers about developments in the industry; we strive to give practical analysis for avoiding disputes and, if disputes they become inevitable, resolving them efficiently and with optimal results.
